Our programs are all about getting your students focused and engaged so they can understand the Self in order to achieve their goals. Our programs hold space for students to explore who they are, who they want to be and what they need to get there through the use of The Positive Mentors Values, Strengths, Behaviours and Actions (VSBA) model. Through this students can understand mental health and wellbeing, personal drives and motivations that enabling them to interact and engage with the community with more awareness.

CAPSTONE PROJECT

Capstone: Empowering Growth, Fostering Success

A capstone project or assessment marks the culmination of an academic program, typically undertaken during the final year or semester.  However, this can be done alongside schooling, with smaller subjects in junior or middle school years. This significant endeavor serves as a showcase of a student's accumulated knowledge and skills acquired throughout their coursework from current knowledge, or an excellent addition to our VSBA course. The term "capstone" metaphorically signifies the final stone placed atop an architectural structure, symbolizing the completion and crowning achievement of the entire educational journey.

By the end of this course mentees will:

​​​

  • Gained insight into personal motivations and developed an understanding of their influence on teamwork dynamics.

  • Explored individual strengths and growth areas, fostering self-awareness and personal development.

  • Cultivated empathy and appreciation for diverse perspectives to enhance collaboration within a team.

  • Acquired effective communication and collaboration skills to optimize teamwork efficiency

  • Participated in practical activities emphasizing positive communication and connection-building for successful future collaborations.

Goal Alignment for Holistic Success: Brain-Based Strategies to Discover a Fulfilling Career and Personal Life

Career Targeting is a + Mentor program that is an essential, professional, and engaging experience tailored for students in Years 8-12. This transformative journey equips participants with the skills to establish and accomplish personal objectives by leveraging the proven S.M.A.R.T. methodology and working collaboratively with their mentor. Complemented by a series of assessments, students gain clarity and direction as they develop resilience and foster personal growth.


For students in Years 10-12, our program offers a specialized focus on setting goals for post-secondary education and career objectives. This includes providing guidance for entrance into prestigious national and international institutions, universities, and programs, ensuring students are well-prepared for their next steps toward a successful and fulfilling future.

By the end of this course mentees will:

  • Identify and set achievable personal goals using the S.M.A.R.T. methodology

  • Develop a deeper understanding of their strengths and areas for growth

  • Enhance resilience and perseverance in overcoming challenges and obstacles

Unlock Your Success Code: Harness Your Values and Strengths to Transform Behaviors and Actions

This evidence-based program is ideal for secondary school students experiencing feelings of confusion, boredom, or anxiety. By employing a comprehensive approach rooted in Positive Education and wellbeing research, we help students explore their Values, Strengths, Behaviors, and Actions (VSBA) and understand how these elements impact their motivation, self-perception, and engagement within their community and the world.


Our innovative +Mentor Telescope Lens theory empowers students to discover their place in the world while identifying pathways to achieve their potential. For students in Years 9 and 10, we integrate Morrisby Test results with our established methodologies to identify suitable career avenues, ultimately promoting a happier, more balanced lifestyle.

Achieve Senior School Mastery: Developing Winning Strategies for a Success Mindset

The Senior School Mindset program is ideal for secondary school students seeking to optimise their academic performance and overall well-being. This program is specifically designed to enhance study strategies, reduce stress and anxiety, and refine existing study systems, ensuring students are well-equipped to excel in their academic journey.

By the end of this course mentees will:

​​

  • Have gained a better sense of work/study habits

  • Have explored and analysed their immediate environments

  • Identified positive study habits and wellbeing management systems

  • Have explored management and organisational routines

  • Developed a greater understanding of how they learn and methods to ​enhance their 
    retainment of knowledge.

     

By the end of this course mentees will be able to:

  • Identify and implement work/study habits that benefit the mentee

  • Understand the benefits of environmental hygiene

  • Implement positive study habits and wellbeing management systems

  • Implement management and organisational routines for progress towards goals

Empowering Transformation: A Customised Approach to Building Empathy and Resilience in At-Risk Youth

LISTEN is a specific program that can run alongside our main programs for students that are  at risk, disaffected, alienated, detached, or truanting. This program runs separate to the main room, with a Positive Education and Wellbeing specialist to provide tailored one-on-one/ -few sessions with students requiring a personalised attention.

​

The LISTEN program engages by utilising Mental Health and Wellbeing strategies, along with training in additional learning needs including English as an Additional Language learners to:

​

Learn:           Gain knowledge about the at-risk youth's background, experiences, and challenges.
Inspire:         Motivate the youth to believe in their potential and strive for success.
Support:      Provide guidance, resources, and encouragement to help them overcome obstacles.
Teach:           Share life skills, coping strategies, and educational knowledge to promote growth.
Empathise: Show understanding and empathy for their struggles and emotions.
Navigate:    Guide them in developing a roadmap for their future success.
